CCTV News: According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, the latest data from the National Standards Committee shows that as of the end of June this year, the number of foreign-funded enterprises of the National Professional Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Technical Committee) has reached 3,333 members, accounting for 5.4% of the total number of members. my country's standardization work is opening up to the outside world, and foreign-funded enterprises are becoming an important force in promoting the construction of China's standard system.
In recent years, with the in-depth implementation of the "National Outline for Standardization Development", the breadth and depth of foreign-invested enterprises' participation in China's standardization construction have been significantly expanded. Data shows that members of the Technical Committee's foreign-funded enterprises participated in 791 technical committees, accounting for 58% of the total number of technical committees, involving key areas such as information technology, integrated circuits, communications, automobiles, medical care, electronics, home appliances, and food. Members of foreign-funded enterprises have participated in the specific work of pre-research, project establishment, drafting, review and revision of my country's standards to varying degrees, and have played an important role in improving my country's standards and technical level and improving the consistency with international and foreign standards.
As my country's reform and opening up policies continue to deepen, my country's standardization level, degree of openness and development foundation have been fully recognized by foreign-funded enterprises. Some foreign-funded enterprises say that China's standardization level, inclusiveness and acceptance are improving, and China's standardization environment is already at a world-class level. The role of foreign-invested enterprises in the technical committee has gradually shifted from early technical consultation to in-depth participation. The combination of the international vision brought by foreign-invested enterprises with local practices not only improves the global compatibility of Chinese standards, but also provides institutional guarantees for enterprises to deepen their cultivation in the Chinese market.
